INTRODUCTION:

Santa barbara is a city in California which is 280 mile from San Francisco. It is shaped by Spanish past and its structure reflects the replica of Spanish style. Santa Barbara is very beautiful city. There are so many beautiful beaches and magnificent mountains make this city a tourist spot. So many movies are made here in Santa Barbara and it is becoming the best revenue generating town for tourism industry.

ATTRACTIONS:

Beaches are the real assets of Santa Barbara these make the place most beautiful. There are some other attractions too apart from beaches.

THE COURT HOUSE Court house of Santa Barbara has been called the most picturesque and beautiful government building in America.

In this court house there are three floors you can see here library and court room. Elevators are provided here too to get you from one floor to other floor, restrooms, stairs all are there. Admission to this court house is free, there is no admission fee. You have to take self tour, there is no guided tour facility provided. Walls of the court are covered with magnificent artistic work, lamps, seat, doors are of old traditional artistic style. From the top floor of the court you can take a glimpse of whole Santa Barbara like lush green garden, brick covered top buildings looks eyes shooting and mountains covered with clouds look gorgeous from the height. You can also do photography here. At the entrance gate on the left hand side there is visitor information center you can ask there about the history and library opening timings. In the street you can easily get space to park your car no need to park car in paid parking area. Its really beautiful painted and crafted building of history.

THE MISSION This mission is among the California’s 10th mission . There you will find well equipped kitchen, guestroom, church, museum, gift shop and lush green garden. It is beautiful place to visit once.

WATER FRONT This is the main and the most beautiful spot in Santa Barbara. You will see here the high waves of water. This is the main point for surfers because of high waves. On the sea side you can do biking, you can play here or also can bring your food and spend your time in company of water and sun. It will be your most valuable and lovely day. You can park your car anywhere on the street which is free. It is the perfect place to view ocean closely. Water front is an important meeting place for locals during the 4th of July. It is the perfect or best place to spent their weekends. There are some telescopes which are standing on the corner are free through these telescopes you can take breath taking view if ocean and cruises.

HOW TO REACH:

Santa Barbara is very easily accessible by car, air or by bus. It is only 3 hr drive from San Francisco and flight take only 1 hr so it’s a good picnic spot. Amtrak offers daily service from Los angels, fares of round trip is around $29.

STAY:

There are so many mid range, budget and spurge hotels in Santa Barbara. You can either stay in beach side hotels or in normal hotels. Extended stay America is good hotel. There are vocational rental rooms and apartments provided so you can opt a place according to your budget or interest.
