HOW TO REACH:

You can access Tahoe by car, bus or by air. It takes 3 to 3 1/2 hrs by car or bus and 1 hr by air depends on weather and road traffic. In winters if you are going Tahoe by car do not forget to bring snow chain for tires for safe side because sometimes heavy snowfall make the road slippery and your car tire will skid so it will be helpful during this time. Driving is very scenic to Tahoe specially in winters and in summers both when you will see snow covered trees stand on the side of road and calling you come and enjoy with you and in summers the serene and calm water will gaze you silently. Eye soothing atmosphere prevailing every where in Tahoe in winters and summers in both season. It has something different in all weather you will find the variety of natural beauty spread everywhere . It is recommended that you go by car as you are free to stop by any where and can enjoy eating on the way, can do photography.

There are many budget, mid range and spurge hotels. Tahoe inn is very good and it is in south Lake Tahoe. Tahoe inn economy room rate are $ 40 per night and three casinos are very near to this place so in evening after return to room you can enjoy remaining time in casinos. Sub way and Taco bell type of many food joints are also near to this place. There are many other hotels and lodge are in south and north lake Tahoe you can choose according to you choice and budget.

Woolen outerwear or Jacket, snow gears, snow boots, gloves, cap, camera, sunscreen comfortable shoes, first aid box, medicines like pain killer etc.

ADVISE:

Minimum bet in casinos are half $ which is quarter $ in Las Vegas and some casinos minimum bet is $ in Reno so this is the only concern and do not forget to bring sunscreen even in winters also because when sun reflects in snow it tan the skin more easily.
