INTRODUCTION:

Reno is a city in US (state Nevada) known as the biggest little city in the world. This city is also called mini Las Vegas. Reno was the capital of gambling in US but in last few years Las Vegas over take this position. It is famous for casinos, church, ski area and for so many indoor and outdoor activities. It is approx 220 mile from San Francisco. In Reno you can do gambling, slots, roulette all are available there. You can have great time gambling in Reno 24 hours a day year round but do not expect too much in this area as compared to Las Vegas. Reno is very close to Tahoe. Tahoe is approx 1/2 hr drive from downtown Reno. Some hotels are common in Reno and Las Vegas as Circus Circus and Harrah. There are not many hotels as in Las Vegas but few are good having their own casino, rooms, restaurants. Harrah is the biggest hotel in Reno It provides daily buses to Reno from many spots like San Francisco so you can take a day tour of this bus it will charge $15 per person and you can enjoy a full day in Reno it starts around 8 am in morning and return around 6 pm in evening.

HOW TO REACH:

You can access Reno by car, bus or by air. It takes 3 to 4 hrs depends on traffic and weather by car or bus and 1 hr by air. In winters if you are going Reno by car do not forget to bring snow chain for tires for safe side because sometimes heavy snowfall make the road slippery and your car tire will skid so it will be helpful during this time. Driving is very scenic to Reno specially in winters when you will see snow covered trees stand on the side of road and calling you come and enjoy with us. Eye soothing atmosphere prevailing every where in Reno. In winters or in summers both season has something different you will find the variety of natural beauty prevailing all around. It is recommended that you go by car as you are free to stop by any where and can enjoy eating on the way, can do photography.

STAY:

In Reno there are many budget, mid range and spurge hotels. If you have kids you can stay in Circus Circus as you will find so many activities and shows there for kids they will get fun there. Harrah, Silverton and El Cortez are also good hotels we will suggest. Hotel rooms and service are good in hotels. If you want to combine your trip to Reno with Tahoe you can stay in Tahoe also there you will many choices of hotels, lodge. Tahoe Inn is very good and its only 1/2 hr drive to Reno. Tahoe Inn’s economy room rate are $ 40 per night and three casino’s are very near to this place so in evening after return to room you can enjoy remaining time in casino. Sub way and Taco bell type of many food joints are also near to this place.

REQUIRED ITEMS:

Woolen wear or Jacket, snow gears, snow boots, gloves, cap, camera, sunscreen comfortable shoes are the required items during your trip to Reno .

ADVISE:

Minimum bet in casinos are half $ which is quarter $ in Las Vegas and some casinos minimum bet is 1$ in Reno so this is the only concern and do not forget to bring sunscreen even in winters also because reflection of sunlight in snow is more worse for skin as compared to summers.
