SIDHBALI TEMPLE (INDIA)

INTRODUCTION:

Sidhbali temple is situated at Kotdwar town of Garhwal district in Uttrakhand, which is just 230 km. from Delhi region and 76 km. from Haridwar. The place is worshiped by Hindu’s. It is a very beautiful temple of Hanumanji mostly popular among Garhwali’s. It is surrounded by rushing Kho river and the splendid mountains range. The temple was once broken almost one third due to land slide in some late 80's but miraculously survived and now standing on top of the town as an icon of the city. It is believed that Hanumanji himself supported temple structure on his shoulders. Temple is in outskirts of Kotdwar.

Generally it is peoples faith or belief whatever they wish here by clear or pure heart baba (Hanumanji) will give them definitely. There people do BHANDARA after completion of their wish. You have to book in temple for bhandara 2-3 months prior because some times it is already booked for whole year. For bhandara you have to do your own arrangements of cook and related items.

Temple park is also very beautiful. There are 4-5 rooms also which are constructed by devotees and trust. There are two ways to go to temple at one way there are approx 100 of stairs and the other way is short with very less stairs. There are some shops of PRASAD and SNACKS also. You can buy prasad from them and after darshan you can do snacking there. There is huge parking ground also so you can find parking space there easily. It is not paid parking. There are shoes stand too so either you can leave your footwear’s in your vehicle or can put in that stand too it is absolutely free too. On Sunday you will find great rush here because in Kotdwar Sunday weekly off so market close. People plan to spend their whole day here with family or friends in this beautiful place which is surrounded by mountains. Near this temple there is a kids park also where you will find some rides like swings for kids entertainment.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS:

After taking darshan of Sidhbali baba temple there is one other temple also which is 10km. far from this place That is DEVI MATA'S temple. When you start driving towards DUGADDA it will come on the way. For that you have to go down stairs. It is very beautiful temple too situated in the some hidden area of mountains. Down side of this temple Kho river is flowing so you can enjoy fishing and can play with water also. It will another fun for you in this trip.

You can do hiking and biking there and also can take bath in Kho river. This place is very near to Lancedown it is a hill station 40km. from Kotdwar you can visit there. There you can enjoy boating ,nature and military area also. Its location is very beautiful and peaceful.

You can stay either in Kotdwar or in Lancedown so that you can enjoy or cover all the near by attractions. There are many hotels in Kotdwar and resorts in Lancedown.
